Awesome Product.....

I hate doing my taxes, but Turbo Tax makes it way too easy! Even with dividends, sale of stocks, and other state refunds Turbo Tax walks you thru everything. Thanks for an awesome product.
What's great about it: Easy
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Excellent and fast

This is the seventh year I've used TurboTax. Every time it has gotten easier and more understandable.
The only glitch: This year I did it via the software instead of over the Web, and just as I was about to transmit the e-filing it told me I needed an update to the software, but the program couldn't find any update. Finally I quit and restarted, and it went through. I'm reporting this in hopes that they can fix it!

Context-sensitive Help Missing

Years ago, TurboTax included more context-sensitive help. When you had a question, you could get detailed help about that question with one click because the program recognized that you need help with the section you are currently working on. Maybe that would again be available if I purchased a more expensive version of the program. As it is, the program lacks the detailed, easy to find help that it once included.

Super Product

I highly recommend this product, because it lets the user complete the process at a chosen pace and at a chosen degree of difficulty. It's a thorough product and I actually look forward to using it to maximize my return.
What's great about it: Very very easy to use; thorough.
What's not so great: Taxes take time, no matter what software you choose.

I've used this product for the last five years. Last year my new wife, fiance at the time, used it herself and this year my step-daughter. They both found it easy to use and they were Super apprehensive.

Easier every year

The feature I like the best and use the most is the IRA contribution calculator. After a certain amount the benefit of the deduction isn't there so I keep inputting higher amounts until I can make decision as to how much. I write these amounts down, but it would be nice if a box opened up and kept track for me. Not a big Con, I have been using the product for almost as long as it has been available. Each year it gets better.
What's great about it: Step by Step walk through
What's not so great: Doesn't track refunds/owe when inputting different amounts in IRA contributions.
