Always a Winner!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now, and it is the best!
What's great about it: Easy to use, makes the big stuff simple
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love me some Turbo Tax

Great experienced with Turbo Tax! Been using it for several years and have always had good results. Doesn't mean you will not get audited, because I have before, but the information I put in was what I had to show, so no problem. Love the ease of learning it, and always have ways to find out something if you are not sure.
What's great about it: Being able to go through it own my own
What's not so great: When you go back to a section to hit detail, you have to scroll down for each one.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Filling easy as cake

Once again I used Turbo Tax to file my returns. I have used this product for over 15 years and feel very confident in the accuracy of my returns. I have NEVER used any other tax prep and never will!
What's great about it: Great cues, little worries in getting the taxes filled out and processed easily and completely
What's not so great: nothing

College Education Credits Section Needs Revamping

I have enjoyed using Turbo Tax Deluxe for the past decade, and the software has worked wonderfully in the past for my relatively straightforward tax situation (married filing jointly, no rental property or investments to track outside of IRAs and a 401(k), no business income or deductions). This tax year, my dependent child entered college. I had difficulty determining what forms to file with my return or my dependent's return (e.g., 1099-Q and 1098-T - who files which form). In this area, I found Turbo Tax to be lacking in its information and guidance. In several instances, once a question was answered, there was no easy way to go back and change the answer. The education credits section was confusing and frustrating. For example, at one point Turbo Tax asked my dependent for information related to purchased school books and room and board; the fine print indicated that such expenses are not deductible so why bother asking. Not sure I will use Turbo Tax next year - will likely go with a tax accountant.
What's great about it: Simple Q&A interface for the majority of the return
What's not so great: Interface and information for college education credits was less than stellar

Another Successful Tax Year Thanks to Turbo Tax

I've done my taxes for the last 15 years with turbo tax. This year, I did them on a new computer because my old computer crashed and my back up drive was infected with a virus. I wish I could have gone to Turbo Tax's website to import all my old info.
What's great about it: so simple to use, and love the "walk you through it"
What's not so great: Wish I could import last years return from Turbo Tax web site
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Been with TT for a few years now. Use it for my wife and I, sons, mother in law. It's very easy to use
What's great about it: speed and detail of review questions
What's not so great: should have music chimes to get you to your goals
