I have used Turbo Tax for several years now and have never been disappointed. It seems that they find new deductions every year that I would never have thought of.
What's great about it: Found more deductions than I would have. Simple to use. Leads you through everything.

didn't really follow need to reinput medical premiums for state, and only on self employed format, even though I am retired. but assume I did it correctly.
Love going through the question and answer format - makes it very easy to do one's own taxes. without it I would be paying a CPA, and still responsible for my own input regardless.

Easy and accurate!

Once you use Turbo Tax, there's no going back! It imports your donations from ItsDeductable (recommend doing this year round to avoid last minute headache#. Also imports tax info from previous year so you don't have to fill in basics. Even shows comparison with previous year - good reminder if you forget a category of income or expense. You have the option of walking thru each category or skipping to the ones you know apply. E-filing is easy and the refund #if you're lucky to get one) is fast. If your return isn't super complicated, Turbo Tax is the way to go.
What's great about it: Imports previous years info, donation deductable valuations

So Simple

I find that Turbo Tax Deluxe is perfect for my needs. I am not a professional tax preparer, but have completed my taxes with Turbo Tax every year. I also complete a few friends returns with the same software.
Its easy to use and I feel confident while using it. I have never had an audit due to using Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, and reliable
What's not so great: Non that I know
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
