Easy to follow and edit entries

The only reason I use Deluxe is so I can itemize deductions. Itemizing deduction really saves your tax liability if you own a house or have charitable contributions.
What's great about it: Filed taxes quickly
What's not so great: None that I can think of

had to be on the phone with TT for over an hour. the cd I received in the mail would not allow me to work off it. we finally loaded the cd onto my computer. but it all worked out and the gentleman that I was on the phone with was very helpful.
What's great about it: well guided
What's not so great: had a problem working off the cd
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

great product, simple, easy and fast

Over all a great product and well worth the money. Asks all necessary questions and really does get you the "maximum" refund. Has a great function at the end that tells you your audit risk and offers a service to help if you do get audited. I will be using it again next year and recommending turbo tax to everyone I know.
What's great about it: Simple to use, very thorough, has quick answers to any questions you have
What's not so great: needs lots of updates, have to pay to e-file state return

Couldn't be easier

I have used TURBO Tax for 10 years or more. Every year is easier and easier and with children in college, all of my questions are answered and credits are found that I have not heard of.
What's great about it: All of my questions were answered clearly and concisely

Solid Tax Tool

This tool make doing taxes bearable. Since the interface covers all the needed subjects, I do not need to worry about missing information. The Advantage program removes the hassle of finding and buying Turbo Tax each year. I get a bill, pay it, and I have Turbo Tax ready to go at the end of the year.
What's great about it: Straight forward, underrstandable,
What's not so great: Tedious on non-applicable subjects

Soooooooooo Easy to USE!

If you have used Turbo Tax in the past it imports information from the previous tax year. You are able to view previous year to current year for deductions, income, etc. Let's say you looked at the previous year's interest deductions and realized that you forgot to post an interest payment it is easy to update the information without the need for an amended tax filing. I have been using Turbo tax for the past 5 years and will continue to use in the future.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy to use.

Problems this year

I've used TurboTax for seven years and have been extremely happy with it. It makes it incredibly easy for anyone to complete and file their tax return. However this year, when I reached the electronic filing section, it wouldn't accept my return. It kept telling me there was an update available, but no update was found. I searched the web and discovered this was a huge problem with users. Found several 'solutions' but none worked. Since I was doing this mid-day on a Saturday, I hoped the system was just overwhelmed and kept trying. After 2 hours, it finally went through.
What's great about it: Easy as always
What's not so great: Trouble filing - looks like a lot of people had the same problem
