The Catcher in The Refund

The screens did all the work, I just have to make sure I had all the right documents. I had changed my email during the year and forgot my user id. This led to me not being abole to log into my Intuit account.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Couldn't sign into my account

Easy and clear

Have used for several years now and would not consider changing. Doing taxes has never been easier!
What's great about it: Carries forward info from prior. Thorough questions and links.
What's not so great: Not easy to undo an option at times.

Disappointed - did not get a refund this year

Did not withhold enough Federal tax this year - Did not get a federal refund. Please ensure that the W-4/next year withholding estimation tool takes into account the age of the dependents. I probably would have gotten a refund had this tool advised me that one of my children would not be eligible for the Child Tax Credit due to turning 17 this year.
What's great about it: Smooth transfer of previous years tax data
What's not so great: Projected W-4 data for 2013 tax year was way off

Taxes made easy

I have used this product before and am overall quite pleased with my returns. My taxes are not overly difficult and so I was able to buy the software suited to my finances.
The only complaint I have is after taking advantage of the free e-filing of my federal return I could not print out the forms in an acceptable format to mail my state return so was forced to pay the e-file charge to submit my state return.
What's great about it: Have been using turbo tax for a few years now and is reasonably simple and only takes an hour or two
What's not so great: Was not able to mail my state return because it would not print the forms out because I e-filed my federal I suppose.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Tax Prep Review

Another year, another easily prepared tax return. It is now soooooo very easy using TurboTax
What's great about it: TurboTax simplifies the difficult tasks of tax prep. It's easier still if you use Quicken for your personal finances.
What's not so great: What "cons?"

Great Application

For anyone filing taxes, Turbo Tax sure makes it easy. While admittedly not a complex filing party myself, I was completely done filing in less than 45 minutes. It was quick and easy.
What's great about it: Very easy to manuver through the program. Even my 79 year old Mom could figure it out!
What's not so great: None

Mostly simple to do

Took me about an hour to do both returns. Like that the info I put in from previous years is loaded on new form. Also good to compare last year with this years.
