2013 Tax Refund

The reason I have been using Turbotax the past few years is that it is fast and easy. The program steps you through the different sections of your tax return. It is able to bring in tax data electronically which saves on typing and helps with accuracy. You can then file electronically once complete. The process just takes a couple hours for an individual return. I plan to use the program again next year.
What's great about it: Steps you through the process and can bring in information electronically
What's not so great: nothing

Have used TurboTax for years. Love how last years information loads into current year's return. Helps jog my memory. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

There is a TurboTax version that is perfect for everyone. Just read the back of the box or the description on-line to choose the one you need. You will not be disappointed.

The menu was easy to follow, and made logical sense. In deducations/expenses when I finished I was directed back to complete some areas that did not appear to me in the original documentation (work/auto expenses for example). Other than that, very useful and easy to follow.
What's great about it: Logical, smooth progression through
What's not so great: Not sure why the review at the end found areas not noticed when preparing the return

Easy system

I've used it every year for the past 7 or 8 years. I'll continue.
What's great about it: ease of information; easy to come back to if needed; directs you to the best direction
What's not so great: some of the questions were confusing when filing multiple states.

I have been using TurboTax for the last 20 years or so. My only complaint is that there is no version that supports the Linux operating system. TurboTax is the only application that I use that still keeps me indentured to Microsoft (or Apple, I suppose). Porting TurboTax to Linux, or at least making it run well under Wine, would be appreciated and should be a trivial effort for Intuit.
What's great about it: Good overall. No complaints.
What's not so great: No version for Linux.

I've been using this program for the better part of two decades. It's easy to use, and makes the process less stressful. The import from last year's tax files, and importing from the broker, makes the process easier.
Home deductions and business expenses, however, can be difficult to negotiate. The forms are more complicated, thus deterring some from claiming the deductions.
What's great about it: imports automatically from broker, guided tour, inexpensive
