2013 Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. Before using it I was always getting corrections from the IRS, not happening since Turbo Tax usage.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Covers any scenario that I might encounter.
What's not so great: Can't think of any
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

If your return is straightforward, Turbo Tax is extremely easy to use... 'Ive been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years and have been able to submit my return within a few days of starting (even when I dont have all of the paperwork in front of me when I start) You can always re-visit an area that you needed to skip because you weren't prepared...
the only issue I have is with the one-offs -- when you don't fit the mold. there needs to be more guidance in those situations, so that you know what to enter and why you are entering the information (and what the potential tax ramifications are)

What's great about it: LIked guidance, Its deductible, ease of use
What's not so great: didnt like the milage deduction for business use of vehicle... too confusing as to what is needed.

detailed process

I took most of the day to gather the information that I forgot and the program led me through all of the process. I think it was very thorough and the process of finding missed items and fixing errors was easy
What's great about it: asked all the questions in logical order found things i missed
What's not so great: NONE

Simple to use - After the first year of use all information automatically transfers to the new file year worksheet - this is a real time saver!

easy to use, and after checking money sites, realized that for my situation, i can do as good a job using turbo tax as a pro can.
What's great about it: Guided me thru at my pace w/o cost of a pro
What's not so great: always wonder if someone else could do better

I wish the would include an efile for the state also when you but the software with the state included.
