PC software GOOD - Online version BAD

I went with the Deluxe PC version of the software because it was 50% cheaper than the Basic online version.
The online version's help features did not work - the PC version's did.
The PC version would not read the save file from the online version, so I had to re-enter this year's data. But, in the process, the Deluxe software increased both my Federal and State returns!
What's great about it: Cheaper than online version, help functions work, better refund than from online version.
What's not so great: Won't use online version save file.

Why Do I have to pay to efile my state taxes.

I have been using TurboTax for many years and I hae been using the automatic renewal, put will probably not anymore for the reason stated above.
What's great about it: Very easy to file, especially if you used TurboTax the previous year.
What's not so great: For the price that I pay for TurboTax Delux I shouldn't have to pay to efile my state return.

What's with Turbo Tax this year???????

I needed to resubmit my federal retrun three times; each time the supplemental medicare tax form had bad data on it. Where was this data transferred from?????? Who knows.
Finally was excepted after multiple tries of cleaning it up; successfully on the 3rd try, but the state return continued to bomb. Why? Because the personnel info (i.e. DL #, IL Pin) were not transferred from prior year return. And to find the place on the right form took multiple tries. If you are going to "help" and tell me where the error is, at least provide a link to the correct form.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Incorrectly filled out some forms and did not transfer prior year state tax efililng data

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 2-3 years and have been very satisfied with the overall experience of the program.
What's great about it: very easy
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
