You need to explain RMD's. Confusing!
First two attempts to e-file told me there were updates so couldn't. When I went to menu and looked for updates weren't any. I gave up and waited until next day and everything worked fine.
What's great about it: if you do your homework, will get you what you deserve
What's not so great: Confusing on RMD's and e-file.

Michigan City of Jackson return is wrong

Awful. I could have overpaid the city of Jackson Michigan because it didn't add my taxes already paid. It was telling me I had to make a payment when in fact I was due a refund. Very bad.

I was having trouble with a feature of the software and couldn't figure out how to get around it. The operator walked me through it and together we figured out what to do and I am very grateful. Give her a 10 out of 10.

Great Product

I like the product. I have been using Turbo Tax deluxe for about 5 years now. You get used to the way things are done. I also like that you can use Its deductable and have it imported to your tax return.
What's great about it: very detail oriented
What's not so great: long

Easiest tax filing I have had using Turbo Tax. Didn't take half a bottle of Jack Daniels to get courage up to finish the return!!!
And it was easier than the "free" ones I used last year.

What's great about it: I actually had information together and didn't have to keep going back and changing submissions.
What's not so great: When asking questions, couldn't get answers but then the IRS website was worse.
