I did it!

I have never filed by myself before, I always had a friend help me with the Turbo Tax. I just did it all by myself! It was so easy! I am proud of me.

Straightforward

Very straightforward. Easy to follow steps. You have a choice to follow the easy guide or manually choose sections. I love that the deductions were broken into sections. It made it easy to go back and make corrections or go directly to the section that applies to me. Worksheets were readily available based on the questions I answered. Every year, TurboTax improves its product and makes it more user friendly. Love it, love it, love it.

Easy - More Money Back!

This is the first year using TurboTax and I was a little hesitant.... but it turns out I had no reason to worry! It was easy to use and I felt confident afterwards. The best part was we saved $120 on tax prep fees and this year we're getting back almost $1000 more than last year, which sweetened the deal even more! Plus it completed local tax forms which, with other tax prep software, need to be completed manually. Highly recommended.

Eased MY tax Burden

As a recent Federal Employee who retired at the beginning of the Tax year 2013. there was not much guidance and information regarding the 1099 - R. Need a little more clarification and guidance on this area.
What's great about it: Easy step by step instruction and prompts
What's not so great: Many of the forms and deductions do not apply to the general population
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

No More Dread Of Tax Time

As it turned out I got no refund, but that's not TurboTax's fault. I'd made some investment changes, and consequently my estimated tax payments for 2013 were not sufficient. Still, I'm confident that, thanks to TurboTax, I'm paying not a penny more than the law requires. I'll stick with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy, yet thorough.
What's not so great: None

What turbotax can really do is show you how to manage your money. The way you can experiment with your deductions is great.

2013 State and Fed

Good overall process. Have been using TTax for many years. Easy to import figures from previous years. Good sidebar information when needed. Discussion group questions and answers were helpful. Improvements made each year have honed TTax to a fine-tuned and a very useful program.
What's great about it: Ease of use and entry. Error checking and filing info. Easy to switch between discussion/forms and state/Fed.
What's not so great: Can't think of any
