Very easy to use. The only issue I had was when I got to my state return. There was not a very clear way to choose to mail my return rather than pay to have it e-filed. I had to call customer service to get the information I needed.

I've done my own taxes for 35 years, and I find Turbo Tax to be the best, fastest and cheapest way to get them done.

My Refund

Turbo Tax should have a feature that automatically checks for the best filing status. Ex: Married filing jointly vs. Married filing separately. Rather than simply applying the status used in the past, Turbo Tax should make the calculations and show the user that they are receiving the greatest combined refund by showing the differences. This would certainly give the user a better peace of minds knowing that they have received the maximum refund possible.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: No review of Married filing jointly vs Married filing separate

Easy for anyone

Overall, this program is great. Doing taxes at your leisure, in the comfort of your own home. Most quick tax places don't ask questions or get you the best service. You must ask for them to do specific forms, otherwise they only do the minimum. Turbo tax walks you through every step to ensure that nothing is missed. My only down side to this program is that when filing technically difficult taxes, some of the jargon and steps aren't spelled out in "idiot" layman's terms (which is what I need). One example would be when it comes to retirement data.
What's great about it: Takes the fear and apprehesion of tax time away
What's not so great: Some areas are not completely user friendly especially with technical taxes

Taking the Easy Way

We've used TurboTax for more than a dozen years now, through establishing a small business and ending it last year. All the way, TurboTax has made it as simple as is possible.
What's great about it: Led from one easy step to another
What's not so great: Can't think of one.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Best tax tool i have found

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 15 years and other than having to wait for some financial institutions to make information available, tax season is painless because of Turbo Tax. Well, late forms and too high of taxes.
What's great about it: easy to set up, easy to use, confident in results

2013 Taxes

TurboTax is very easy to use and I now do my dad's taxes with it as well. Would've like the software to recognize my 1099C info in my federal file and have it move over to my state file without having to tax me on it, since it was a short sale of my main residence. I had to do extensive research and found others having the same issue. Very useful to have the community responses to help you along the way. Figured it out, I think.
What's great about it: User friendly and intuitive guide.
What's not so great: Software not able to use 1099C for short sale info. in state return
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments
