Regardless of where I was in the process, when I clicked help it seemed to send me to the same place rather than specific location for the area I was working.
What's great about it: easy step by step guidance
What's not so great: help aways seemed to retun me to the same location
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

In doing my taxes for years I started using Turbo Tax when we bought our first house 17 years ago...love it ....easy to use and always asking you questions to help you file effortlessly....this year I had a surprise when the taxing authority didn't have the forms available....but Turbo Tax walked me through it and I can file today....I always like to put tax time behind me.....Turbo Tax makes that happen....thank you...
What's great about it: Easy to use and easy to understand
What's not so great: I haven't found any

We have used TurboTax for several years now, after using a "professional" tax preparation company and losing several hundred dollars. We went with TurboTax the following year and have had no problems or complaints since!
What's great about it: Very user friendly and dependable

easy to use

I had a HSA distr. and had to go to the IRS web site for the answers I needed. Since I had problems with PayFlex HSA company (never use them) I withdrew all the money. Then I had to file an extra form with the taxes, which Turbo had. I had to hunt for it. It also didn't explain until I went into the form, that if you used the money for qualified medical bills you were not going to be hit with the high tax. All ended well, just fix that problem. I have used there program for over 10 yrs.

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and the process continues to get better with each passing year. The step-by-step process is incredible and I always appreciate Turbo Tax being able to read the prior year's information to save me from having to re-input (or lookup) prior information.
I also appreciate the Error Checking as well! Excellent program!!!
What's great about it: Step-by-step process is excellent!
What's not so great: None that I can think of at this point.

Makes paying taxes less painful

Turbo tax makes filing taxes easy. Once you do one year it is so easy. It keeps all my personal information so I don't have to enter it every year. The small cost is well worth it.
What's great about it: It keeps track year to year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I honestly can't find anything bad to say about turbo tax. I've used it for years and it never lets me down. So easy and so fast what more could one want.
What's great about it: Basically i feel like a tax pro when im done w/o the degree.
What's not so great: wish state efile was included
