What's great about it: Remembers info from last year
What's not so great: Should know that if you live in a state w/o income tax, to quit asking to fill out a state returm

PLEASED WITH THE TURBO TAX SOFTWARE PROGRAM

I HAVE BEEN USING INTUIT'S TURBO TAX SOFTWARE PREPARATION PROGRAMS SINCE 1998, AND I WOULD NOT CONSIDER USING (OR EVEN TRYING) ANY OTHER TAX PREPARATION PROGRAM.
What's great about it: VERY EASY AND SPECIFIC FOR THE TAX PREPARER
What's not so great: NONE

This was my first time using TurboTax and the first time in almost thirty years that I have done my own tax prep. All in all TurboTax was a great help - without it would probably have taken me three or four times longer to get the job done than it actually did. Barring anything unforeseen, I will use TurboTax again next year. I can't imagine wading through the volumes of IRS mumbo-jumbo and trying to translate their directions into understandable English!
What's great about it: Seems to cover just about everything of relevance.
What's not so great: I found your "help" service less than friendly - it needs to be easier to use.

Great Help!

Yes, there was a problem BUT I did get the issue resolved with the help of a very patient lady. We were on the phone for 1.5 hrs trying to figure it out. She was great!
What's great about it: When I discovered the issue with Form 2106, I had a great service rep that helped me to solve the issue.
What's not so great: Form 2106 had issues that held up finalizing my return for three days!

The best way to file

I've used TurboTax for years and years. It is so easy and I trust it. No reason to look elsewhere for a tax filing product!

Taxes easy for everyone

Whether you know what you're doing or not, turbo Tax makes it easy. I am always done ahead of everyone else. I don't know why people are still wasting money with the tax preparing companies that pop up.
What's great about it: easy to stay on top of changes
What's not so great: Need to buy disl - less problems than with download

Most if not all of the explanations are short and not helpful!! I have used Turbotax for the last 6 years and I think this will be the last.
My returns are dwindling to nothing, time to go to an expert.
What's great about it: none
