Quick and Easy

We have used Turbotax every year for the past 5 years and wouldn't do it any other way. They walk you through everything and help get the biggest possible return. Your info transfers over from year to year making it a breeze to do.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate and understand, anyone could use it
What's not so great: None

Great software but ultimately kind of failed

It's really well-done software and quite comprehensive. However, I've used the product for several years now and this was the first time I had an issue transmitting an e-filing for Federal. Now I have to print everything out and send it. Sorry, can't give more than 3 stars for that fact alone.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: e-filing didn't work, said I needed an update but no updates were needed

What's great about it: Step by Step guidance in the privacy of your home
What's not so great: IRS did not have State Sales Tax deduction ready

Turbo-charged Tax Preparation!

I have been using TurboTax for many years. This year, the software seemed even easier to use than in prior years. I love to use the guided process to make sure I don't overlook anything. Bringing in the prior year's info and showing it with the new data also helps me feel that I am not missing anything. i am very satisfied with TurboTax as the tool to use for taxes!
What's great about it: Using the guided process, I was able to complete both my federal and state returns in about an hour.

Review of 2013 Turbo Tax

I misunderstood when starting that I was to include my wife. So, I had to go back halfway through and include her information as well as mine. After that the process is very smooth. I've used Turbo Tax now for 5 years with never a problem. Usually the tax return check is in my bank account within 3 weeks.
And to think I used to pay a hefty fee when Turbo Tax makes it so simple. Wow.

What's great about it: Simple to use and very fast on the return with E filing
What's not so great: At the beginning it's not clear that both people filing are to include all their information together.
