Easing the Tax Headache

Turbo Tax makes the tax filing very easy. You don't have to take tax classes, it does it for you. They keep track of all changes in the tax laws.
What's great about it: Exceptional tutorial and instructions

No response from IRS

My 2013 return was accepted on Feb 2 after being rejected for wrong (2012) PIN. Initially, I had used my 2012 adjusted gross income figure and no PIN. Although Turbo Tax says that my return is now accepted, nothing is happening. I have previously used Turbo Tax for over 10 years without a mistake.
What's not so great: Did not receive refund. Appears to be blocked

Great Program!

Great program and I will continue to file this way.
This is the second year a program's available date is Dec. 2013 and I am filing in Feb. 2014 but the program is not downloaded yet. When I tried to download it I got the same message saying it would be available Dec. 2013. Anyway, I finally got everything I needed and e-filed. I love this TurboTax!

What's great about it: Walks you through everyhthing. No guessing.
What's not so great: Said Tax Rate Schedule would not be available until Dec. 2013 but it is now Feb. 2014. Held up my filing for a while.

I have use Turbo Tax since 2003 and Its a program that makes you feel a refund or if you owe you can file with confidence that it is correct with no worries.
What's great about it: Thorough and made sure forms were downloaded when required
What's not so great: no cons I didn't have opportunity to leave billions of dollars unclaimed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy steps to follow to get my maximum refund.
What's great about it: Quick and pain-free process. (Almost) makes me excited to do my taxes every year!
What's not so great: Stake e-filing is not free. I don't think that is turbotax's fault though.
Pros: I had a baby, I bought or sold investments
