Good news and not so good news

My only issue with this entire program is that for those of us who itemize deductions and donate a lot throughout the year, the ItsDeductible program needs to keep up with the times. For example, please consider including bluray players and movies, "puzzles" can't be found when searched, and many of us donate pet toys and items that aren't in the program. Just a thought. Next year will give 5 stars if you can improve that program for us!
What's great about it: Very easy to maneuver and manipulate - I love this program
What's not so great: Please update ItsDeductible!

I would rate TurboTax an 8 out of 10. the only problems I had were that the instructions were not always clear and getting the state tax done involved a lot of jumping around.
What's great about it: Federal Tax very detailed and comprehensive.
What's not so great: Had a lot of trouble doing State Tax on turbotax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Normally I enjoy using Turbo Tax, However the support for 1099C, 982's, and worksheets totally fell short. Now I must file by mail. Otherwise I would have rated this 5 stars

So much better than H&R. Easy to follow. Brings up previous year for comparison. Program does all the calculations which is a huge feature.
What's great about it: user friendly, clear instructions
What's not so great: had trouble e filing but finally got through

Poor performance in printing the state return

Cannot print the state return. I followed the instructions, but to no avail. The federal return printed fine.
What's great about it: Easy to complete
What's not so great: Too hard to print the state return, when not e filing.

Refund turned out to be $ 2600 higher

Having used TT for years I had a good idea of what my refund would be from a spreadsheet I keep throughout the year. (I thought) The various education credits however were new to me and I did not think they would benefit me. TT walked me through the entry of the numbers and forms and to my surprise my refund jumped ! My medical expenses did not qualify on the FED return but did on the STATE return, again adding to my state refund. My only negative is what seems to me to be a need to further improve the AZ STATE helps and explanations in the state product.
What's great about it: Great explanations and help for FED return
What's not so great: State explanations and help could use improvement

I've been using Turbo Tax for my family's tax returns for many, many years. I like the simplicity of how it is organized, and how it brings forward the prior year data. Love it, Love it, Love it.
What's great about it: Always easy to work with. Very understandable.
What's not so great: NONE
