Use it every year

Been using Turbo Tax for many, many years and can't think of anything else to use. The only time I didn't use, and used a tax pro, I ended up getting audited. Coincidence? Probably.

An almost excellent experience

I have been a loyal TurboTax customer for many years now. The product gets better and better each year. I am always pleased with my experience and the support that is available year round.
Last year and again this year I was very disappointed with the glitches in the final stage with e-filing. I attempted several times to check for updates and to use the help link. I did not want to print my returns and mail them. I finally located a suggestion to reboot the computer and try again. After doing that simple action I was able to e-file the return with no problem.
It would be helpful to have that suggestion added to the directions before advising customers to mail the return in; especially after already paying the state e-filing fee.
I plan to keep using TurboTax but will remember to reboot if I have difficulties.
What's great about it: I love the step by step method of working through my return. The reminders help me better organize my paperwork.
What's not so great: The ONLY thing I did not like was my initial inability to e-file my returns and the insuing confusion and frustration!

Have used it for years, before it was called Turbo Tax. I do not have a lot of extras so has been really simple. When you have all your info available, takes less than an hour to complete.

It took me about an hour to complete the return, but that is because I go through every income and deduction page just to make I don't miss anything.

Great Customer Service

Turbo tax is the best self-filing program that I have used. I file several returns each year and this makes it particularly easy. It is also great when you finally get through to deal with their customer service. The chat and call methods are both very helpful.
What's great about it: The effort and commitment of the customer service to help out and ease of program use
What's not so great: Long wait times to reach helpful customer service and a few confusing questions during process
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments
