EXCELLENT, as usual
----might want to consider a "PIP" box--- off to the side to visually represent where you are in the entry process and where you can easily go to see what line number (and IRS Form) you are accessing with the entry cursor.

just one glitch

been using windows turbo tax for years. used the mac turbo tax for first time. downloaded from site. after my first use, i saved work and took break. when i reloaded, kept crashing. started to get worried. didn't want to reenter data. went online and saw u had to delete 3-4 files in order to get it to work again. lucky i saw this solution and it worked. otherwise i would've given 5 stars for turbo tax experience.
What's great about it: easy to use, fast, efficient, self explanatory
What's not so great: kept crashing after one use

I had to delete and re enter 6 charitable deductions because of a mispelled Charity name!
What's great about it: Step by step walk through.
What's not so great: NOT being able to click and correct ANY spelling errors!!
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Tax return troubles!

Seems to me every year there seems to be glitches in the program that if I'm not careful can cause me major problems when I file, every year it is something different. This year the AZ tax return had a glitch in it at the end asking about my carry over (I can't remember now) what is was, but it was something that I looked up online at your forum and found out what to do, it was not user error it is software, then at the end of the filing I was not able to file my AZ state return because it wasnt ready, I find that odd, may be turbo tax may not be but next year I might consider another software program due to the glitches in this program that I seem to have to deal with every year. Sad, because I have used turbo tax for many many years.
What's great about it: imported last years return
What's not so great: glitch in the AZ state tax return and form not avail to file at the end

This Turbotax was very easy to use. Start to finish I had no trouble understanding what I need to enter or what to do next.

Overall TurboTax is the way to go to prepare and file taxes. It empowers individuals to handle their business with expertise assistance.
What's great about it: The EasyGuide was excellent!!!
What's not so great: Some topics did not come with an explanation.

I have been using TurboTax since Windows 3. I have not found any better program to use. I promote TurboTax whenever possible so my friends can get the largest refund with the least amount of headaches. (I have never had any headache with the program!!)
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: Didn't find any
