Consistent software

Having been a TurboTax user for more than 10 years, this is probably the first year that had a problem with efiling (for the state). Problem resulted in a couple of rejections until software updates fixed the problem around February 13th. Although an inconvenience, still satisfied with the Turbo Tax software.
What's great about it: Importing last year's information and downloading current year financial information
What's not so great: Problem with Michigan electronic filing; updates fixed problem around February 13th
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Just Okay This Time

I was generally pleased but had to delay my return for a day due to frustrations in trying to remove the Business Income sections that were part of my 2012 return but were not relevant to my 2013 return.
What's great about it: most of my return went very smoothly.
What's not so great: I had difficulty figuring out how to delete the Business Income sections.

Positive Experience with a little sweat

IN a couple of spots, the program assumed I knew what the initials being used stood for (HSA and HDHP, for example.) Also, program did not help me figure how to enter the tax exemption for a parsonage allowance. My Pension Fund had to help me there. Not many of us in terms of percentage have this need.
What's great about it: Helped make lengthy process but required a bit of interpretation
What's not so great: Use of initialed entities presupposed tax preparer knew the meaning of the initials
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

LOVE TURBO TAX

I've used Turbo Tax for years. The application is easy to use and every year the enhancements make it easier.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE!!

Easy Peasy Refund

I have been using TurboTax for at least 5 years now and find it very easy to use. It walks you through all the income and deductions by asking simple questions.
What's great about it: Easy step by step guide through all deductions.
What's not so great: Indicated that all forms were not updated yet but still passed the verification check.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Intuit needs to fix these install issues or you will be losing valuable customers.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Very difficult to install to vista machine. Had to run all new windows updates. Just about gave up hope.
