Paying Taxes Equals Making Money

Walking through the Federal taxes was even more user friendly this year. Appreciated how the deductions and contribution user interface worked making it simple to update previous and add any new ones.
State was a little less user friendly this year. Only a few of the numbers from last years return defaulted in at the appropriate place and it was difficult to find the where the numbers were off the 2012 print out to fill them in manually.
Even with the hiccups; still better than a completely manual process.

Simply, incredibly simple....

The price is excellent for the product you get. Starting out, having the information imported from last years returns, as well as importing W-2s, saves a lot of work, and avoids the problems of typos and it insures accuracy. The program leads me through the process, reminding me of what I did last year, and advising me of the best approach. The "It's deductible" program is such a time saver. After filing out the forms, the audit gets you ready for filing and it identifies any red flags that need to be looked at. Finally, electronically filing with Turbo Tax is so easy. I've been using Turbo Tax for 13 years, and wouldn't dream of using any other software or paying someone 4 times the money to have someone else do it for me... Does it seem like I'm happy with it? :)
What's great about it: Letting Turbo Tax guide me through the details of filing my return saves me days of frustration
What's not so great: None... absolutely none

Fast, Easy Tax Preparation.

Using medical and charitable receipts saved throughout the year, and carefully assembling financial documents received in the mail in January and February entering the data is easy. If TurboTax has been used in prior years, a lot of data is carried over from previous years; eliminating entering names and addresses of income sources and charities. Much easier and more thorough than attempting to do your taxes without the TurboTax.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, step by step guidance
What's not so great: Very difficult to correct misspelled charity name.

Easy going

I have been using TurboTax since or before 1992. It has never failed me yet. I have every year's disc. I will continue to use TurboTax in the years to come. I believe and trust TurboTax.
