The Form 1099 Mics. over the pass years has taken different forms. I receive $800 plus dollars each month from a deferred compensation retirement account from my spouses estate. It's 100% taxable but not subject to Social Security tax. This year your program wants me to pay a SS Tax Via making it a business enterprise. Why?
What's great about it: Works 4 me
What's not so great: The Form 1099 misc. is incomplete

What's not so great: Charged for filing Tax Return - should be included in Turbo purchase.

The hardest part is collecting all the information, especially if you itemize deductions. Data entry is easier using Turbo Tax and all entries are checked for errors.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is thorough and covers all the basis.
What's not so great: Filing Federal and State Income taxes is complicated-not Turbo Taxes fault!

THE BEST THERE IS!

I've used several tax preparation programs other than Turbo Tax, usually trying to help someone else who can't figure it out because the other programs make everything confusing.
And Turbo Tax is by far the absolute best!! It is so easy, anyone could use it. They make everything very clear. I'll never use a different program for my own taxes. Never!
What's great about it: EASY, FAST, GREAT FOR BEGINNERS AND PROS ALIKE
What's not so great: NONE
