Quick and easy filing

I have used TurboTax for years to complete my federal and state tax returns. The process is very simple and straight forward. I like that you can stop at any point and resume later. I also like the help that is available if you have questions about an entry.
What's great about it: I like the way TurboTax walks you through each section and how it automatically completes your state forms as well.
What's not so great: Even though it is pretty automatic, I would like to walk through the State forms in a little more detail.

Turbo Tax is AWESOME!!! It's the quickest easiest way to do what everyone normally hates to do, their taxes. I've been using Turbo Tax for several years now, and it never lets me down. It quickly and easily walks me through my return every time. Even through my life changes, married, moved etc... It's always been great. There's never been a question that it couldn't answer or a problem that it couldn't help me fix. Thanks Turbo Tax!

Great tool

I have been using TurboTax for years. The first time I used it I was sold. It found several deductions I had never claimed before, increasing my refund by several hundred dollars. Have never used anything else since!
What's great about it: Ease of use

Like the easy to use features. Do not import and generally go to the items myself rather than be led through each step.
What's great about it: Calculations made for you
What's not so great: Can't print out itemized donations

Had a problem because of my husband Federal retirement survivor annuity but had a great friend that helped me out not something that is common.
What's not so great: needed help with my federalCSF 1099R form ask an accountant not an easier part to understand
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I mistakenly added donations outside of the USA. When I realized there was a problem, I did receive help from customer service. She was mannerly, patient and sent me IRS info. about donations!
What's great about it: Got the answer I needed!
What's not so great: When listing charitable donations, it might be helpful to say that most foreign donations are not allowed!

Overall a pretty good experience beats paying someone double or more to do the same thing.
What's great about it: pretty easy
What's not so great: pellet stove tax credit a little confusing
