Easy Product

Great product for filing returns. Makes it easy for me to complete. My windows touch screen kept changing screens on me.

VERY CONFUSING!!!

Turbo used to be so simple and take a very minimum amount of time; now it's SO confusing, we have to check and double-check our items and where to put them. Need to be more clear; seems like you're skipping steps or not giving an option altogether!
What's great about it: Transfer from previous year is great!
What's not so great: Confusing on things like adding second home, lenders (where mortgages have been transferred), home improvements, etc.

First time I used Turbo Tax and was amazed how simple and easy it was. Had been paying a CPA before hundreds every year. From now on I will be using Turbo Tax every year.

quick and easy

Turbo Tax makes it so easy to do my own taxes. Each section is gone through thoroughly. If there is a question you can click on the highlighted words and get an explanation. so nice that all your info is uploaded for you so you dont have to enter it yourself.
What's great about it: easy to understand, lead me through the whole tax form step by step.

Love it & won't switch again!

We have used Turbo Tax for years and have really liked it. Got suckered into using another company's free offer to try it one year. It was very confusing and we didn't get as good of a refund. Free wasn't better, switched back to Turbo Tax and will use it from now on.
What's great about it: Very easy, painless to walk through, FAST

Easy as the first time I used it!!

This is at least the eleventh time I've used the product and it has deductions and things in it that I would never know about or enter if I was doing this long hand!! It is more than worth the money...and I've never failed to get a refund!!

I was very pleased with the ease in filling out the information as I was led through the question areas. Each area had clear definitions of the terms and content required in those fields that needed dollar figures to be filled in. As a result I did not have to make many corrections or changes upon the program's review process. It is probably the easiest year in filling out the Federal and State forms even though, this year, I had two state returns to do in addition to the Federal Forms.
What's great about it: I thought that the interview questions I used to fill in the data were easier and clearer to follow.
What's not so great: I had some income from a Foreign Retirement Fund that I had difficutly in knowing where it was to be included

Love it, but a few glitches this year

The program asks questions that allow for all maximum deductions. The questions are, for the most part, straight forward and easy to understand; however, there's always an explanation if you need one. The only glitches I saw this year had to do with a car used for business that I traded in two years ago. During the check for errors, it kept popping up. It was a challenge to have to go into the forms and find it. Once I did, it went through OK. I also tried to download the Quicken Starter kit…no luck there. Nevertheless, I think TurboTax is the only way to go. A few years ago, I took my finished forms to a tax expert. He looked it over and said it was perfect. I have absolute confidence in this product.
What's great about it: I've used TurboTax for years and find it to be fast, efficient, and accurate.
What's not so great: There were a few glitches this year.
