I'm disappointed that none of the MacIntosh versions of Turbotax support Form 1041.
What's not so great: Form 1041 not supported on Mac.

Must get software loading issues resolved. I will check reviews next year before purchasing.
What's great about it: Interview process and capturing previous year data expedites the process.
What's not so great: Unbelievable compatibility issues in attempting to load the software. Took over a hour to get the program loaded and ru

So-So At Best... Don't Think I'll Be Back

TurboTax gets less useful and more frustrating every year. This year's lack of a clear provision for mailing my state tax means I'll probably not buy it again.
Tax software should make all options clear and direct not obscure them or make it difficult to do anything that the user needs to do.

I don't like software that continually ties to divert me to things to add on costs. It's a lowlife business practice that is, unfortunately, the norm these days. What I've seen this year likely crossed the line.
Like much of what's SOP now, this will probably lead to the
"Business Death By Bean Counter" syndrome!

I can get the same product to do my rather simple returns for less online and elsewhere.
It may be the end of the line for TurboTax here.
What's great about it: Does the taxes - That's The Best I Can Say
What's not so great: Obscured Provision for mailing...along with spam... unexcusable and an attempt to "pick my pocket "

Seemed more through with explanations. The helpful "more" was informative and I gained greater understanding.
Improvements to be made include coping forward one's state tax information. Specifically the county and school district has to be selected year after year.
Have used Turbo Tax the past 5 tax seasons.

Used TurboTax for years - Love It! Now filing my son's taxes for him using TurboTax. Why not, its so easy to use.
What's great about it: step by step guidance, checks if i missed anything
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
