Makes filing taxes painless.

$ stars is the maximum I would ever give. I feel it always gives you something to strive for.
What's great about it: Walking through all items really helps.
What's not so great: Time consuming - But worth it.

I've used Turbo Tax for years to file my taxes. Have always been happy with the results. Easy to use for those of us who are not accountants. Improvements to the program keep coming.
What's great about it: Easy to use, step by step guidance. Tells you what can and cannot be deducted.

Best format ever in 21 years

The single issue I have had, until this year, was the difficulty in addressing an increase to Federal income when completing the state form. This year, your format was very clear in defining the options, particularly the one I had to complete. Thanks.

TurboTax really Simplifies your Life!

After using TurboTax for 10 years straight, I know that it is a truly user-friendly product. You feel that it is definitely on your side! It streamlines the IRS process, which can often be an overwhelming tangle of confusing IRS rules and gobblety-speak. The orderly process catches deductions that you may have missed, and offers suggestions and choices to help you maximize your return.
TurboTax is perfect for beginners and novices, as it will walk you through every step of the way. It allows people with more tax experience to "jump around" the return process too. Either way, it checks your return constantly for errors, and then checks again.
When you are done, you can feel confident that it is done right. They even have a guarantee on your return in case you are audited. And there is a bar graph that shows your chance of being audited.
I have used the competitors' tax preparation products, and I have used CPAs. TurboTax beats them all!

What's not so great: TurboTax contains solicitations for other products, altho admittedly useful, not for me.

I have used TurboTax since 1996 and can't see any reason to stop. It is easy, keeps me on track with all the details that are hard to catch, automatically takes care of stuff when I wouldn't know where to start if I were doing it on my own, and always finds the best refund (or lowest payment).
What's great about it: Fast, easy, got a good refund
What's not so great: Paying fee for filing state taxes.

Always a great job with the software. I have used TurboTax for several years and do not see any reason to use anything else.
