Always Reliable

see the Pros and Cons, very easy to use but the direct deposit info did not transfer to the state return
What's great about it: easy to use from the software download to efiling
What's not so great: when we decided not to efile the state it did not fill in the direct deposit information for the refund

Very fast and user friendly. I particularly liked its ability to download the information directly for the W-2's as well as those from financial institutions. This saved alot of time on data entry as well as eliminated potential human errors in entering the data.
What's great about it: Excellent downloding of info from W-2's and financial institutions
What's not so great: My computer was too slow, TurboTax was fine

I like using this program. It is easy and you can either use the tutorial or goo straight to what you want.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: only 5 efiles for federal returns.

The usual ease of entry and complete amount of forms etc. I do find the return to the sub menu after each entry bit of unnecessary effort. Still has the usual quality that I expect from Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Completeness of worksheets
What's not so great: The going back to main menu after every entry.

Working on the right way in retirement

Easy to follow, explanations are clear and concise. Sales tax for a state without an income tax was challenging to get into, but easy once I finally got there. Unless a large change, as in move from another state, sale or purchase of home, TiurboTax is the way to go.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Nothing

Very Easy

We use Turbo Tax to file short form and at first I was nervous that it would be to complicated to use but bit the bullet and used Turbo Tax. The result was elation for my wife and I. We have recommended Turbo Tax to family and friends and a lot of them have started using it.
What's great about it: easy to do short form
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for years. They continue to make it better and better. Even when my tax situation is complicated, Turbo Tax makes it easy. Step by step questions that lead you through the process.
I feel confident when I am finished that everything has been done correctly.
What's great about it: Easy to follow even if you aren't good with paperwork
