Made Taxes Easy

I'd buy the software rather than do the online option. Seems like to saves money and gets you the same refund. my girlfriend did online and it cost more to file. Pay up front if you can and get the software. Plan on doing mine with turbotax in the future.
What's great about it: Easy to understand

Overall I really like the product. I have been using it for many years and it keeps getting better every year. It keeps track of where I am in the filing process and it returns me there no matter when and how I exit the product. I especially like the ItsDeductable online tool to record and import charitable contributions.The product has never choked or took me down a path I couldn't recover from if needed.
Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Like the guided assistance through the tax preparation process.
What's not so great: No facility to enter interest income if 1099-INT not provided.

Turbo tax 2013

Very simple to use. Easy guide section walks you through each section to make sure you get all of the deductions coming to you. The quick links for help get right to the point and allow you to make a decision on whether a section applies to you.
Did I say simple to use. Save the file year and next year Turbo Tax will go back to that file and extract all of your pertinent info and auto fill. It will also compare each section to what you did the previous year so you can make sure to deduct the same things if they apply and quick glance at the $ difference between current and previous year.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Extracts data from previous years.
What's not so great: None really
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Redundant

I found TurbroTax easy to navigate and well laid out but the following should be addressed:
One would think if you enter your personal information up front the information could be used throughout.
None of my 1099Rs were found even though most are major establishments so I had to type in all that info.
The software should check for latest versions up front not near the end as it does now.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: I Had to enter my personal information and email address nunerous times.

Fast to refund

This was a much easier way for me to do the taxes. I would have spent more time reading the instruction in the tax book. only took me one night to complete both Federal ans Stat returns.
What's great about it: liked the explanations, and help screens
What's not so great: to much scrolling up to continue

Peace of Mind

I have complete confidence that the taxes I filed are accurate. I may not get the biggest refund possible because I do not take any chances as to what I list as deductions but I love the Audit Risk graph at the end of the program.
What's great about it: Easy and I am confident that it is accurate
What's not so great: Only as good as the person inputing the data
