Easier than EVER!!!

I have been using TurboTax for as long as I can remember to file our taxes. The 2013 software was by far the easiest to use. When I used the links about different items on the form, the links worked with easy to read definitions. After completing the federal, completing the state was even easier! I will definitely recommend TurboTax to my friends and family who file their own taxes. I will also recommend they try to complete their own forms before paying someone else to file for them.
What's great about it: Completing and filing our 2013 taxes was the easiest ever! It was fast and at first I thought I made a mistake!

Getting better

Over all a good product. I've been using it for over 10 years. But sometimes items are missing. For instance, calculated state sales tax and actual tax section wouldn't switch when directed. Had to go into the forms view and go line by line to figure out what to change.
After e-Filing Fed Return, State Return has a DO NOT FILE watermark. Searched website help which said once Fed Return accepted watermark would go away. After accepted, watermark didn't go away, so now I'm having to continue research to figure out why, so I can print and mail my state return.
I bought the product so I wouldn't have to research issues...

What's great about it: Step-by-step and previous year comparison
What's not so great: Depending on other users for answers is iffy, since we're dealing with the IRS.

2014 Suggestions for Turbo Tax

One of the easiest times I've had in many years of using Turbo Tax. Liked the look and format for going through the return. It's Deductible is a lot better than years before, actually used it for the first time because it was so easy and gave us more credit than we would have using our own system of calculating the worth of goods.
One problem we encountered was trying to change a form in state after federal was done and the changes were not accepted. We finally figured out that you had to change the state and the federal, the changes did not carry over automatically from one to the other nor were we prompted to do so. A prompt to make these changes would have saved us about 20 minutes and some frustration.

Okay for the price.
What's great about it: It was simple, though. I wish it contain better example. I would only recommend if you finance are simple( i.e NO house)
What's not so great: It had a weird upgrade towards the end that i am not sure what it did.

Tax returns are fun

Turbo tax is easy to use. Just follow the directions. It is easy the first time you use it but the next year it gets that much easier!
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions and move around return
What's not so great: No cons really
Pros: I bought or sold investments
