dependable and easy to understand

I used this for both my taxes and my parents. They were confused trying to do a paper return and IRS publications didn't answer their questions. Turbo Tax helped us zero in on the correct deductions for them and get them their biggest refund. It also helped me with college deductions for my kids.

Almost 20 Years with TT - it keeps getting better!

Have used TurboTax for over a decade. Great program, imports data from previous year & from major banks/brokerages/funds. Always lets you make changes which is helpful. Very pleased with the results.
What's great about it: Easy to use, step by stp instructions, easy to go back if you forgot something

Just keeps getting better!

I've been using TT for over 20 years now and it just keeps getting better! Transferring info from the previous year makes each new year a snap. This year was more complicated, with some W2 income, retirement distributions, and self-employment income. But TT walked me right through it and I was confident that I had covered everything correctly when I was done. Great product!
What's great about it: Easy to use, great prompts for where to enter info, good explanations when you need it.
What's not so great: Can generate a lot of paper if you're not careful what options you select when you print your return.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
