Great Software

I have used Turbo Tax since 1997, it's always easy and update to date with all of the new tax law changes.
What's great about it: Always Easy to use

Used TurboTax Every Year since it was DOS

I would, and always have, recommended TurboTax to everyone. The program will walk you through every possible scenario to determine your best filing options. It's also easy to "what if" any condition and change back if it's not to your advantage. This is my 36th year using this program. I never have any doubts when tax time rolls around each year...I just double click 'TurboTax'.
What's great about it: TurboTax is thorough, accurate, and fast!!

This is simplistic and constantly reviews input, to ensure that you have everythng correct. Eliminates the need for an accountant, unless you are a business.
What's great about it: Simplistic

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great but one thing!

as for many years this has been our go to program but a little put off by the sign up Plus "only" way to pay screen at the end was disappointing.
What's great about it: import of last years info, thorough questions
What's not so great: only way to deduct fees from return was to sign up for Plus!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
