Rocked My Refund

Turbo Tax is an excellent product. It allows for my to file own taxes with ease, and E-Filing allows me to receive my refund quickly.
What's great about it: Liked the ease of Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Got confusing at some points, but was eventually able to figure it out.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent program!

I am a financial planner and I have been doing taxes for myself, family, and friends for 27 years as a part of my practice (NOTE: I do not charge a fee). When I first started, I did it using no software, just the paper forms that were required by the IRS to be filed. I then tried another software, but was not impressed. It actually took me longer to complete a return then by doing it by hand even though I got the same results. I know because I did it both ways just to see what the difference would be. I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 5-7 years now and you could not pay me to use any other software.
What's great about it: Allowed me to do it my way
What's not so great: No shortcomings found
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Very Disappointed

Very disappointing to not be able to print a return to file with the state or access a Turbo Tax help to help me with this within the program! Went to community help and found others had the same problem. La return to file by mail prints with a huge DO NOT FILE printed on the return. Useless!
What's great about it: Did my fed taxes
What's not so great: Could not print a return to file by mail with the state!!!!

Never failed me

I've been using TurboTax for more than 15 years. I've never been rejected on my e-files or been audited. I won't use any other program.
What's great about it: fast, reliable, very easy to use

Great product. Easy to use.
What's great about it: Works easily. Easy to follow questions. It's Deductible! is a great help with material donations
What's not so great: Updates did not load this year. Had to upload them myself.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years now. I hate to do my taxes but I feel like with Turbo Tax that I am doing them right. They take you through everything step by step so that you don't miss any opportunity for deductions.
