Very Disappointed

2nd year this happened - had to uninstall and re-install again- for the last time. 15 year user - no more.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Can't file on a Mac without support - 45 minutes

Overall okay but charged twice to file State

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and overall it was a painless process as usual. However, this year I was charged twice to file my State Tax return. The have tried to contact Turbo Tax for a refund for one of the charges but no luck yet.

I've always used online version before and this year bought software and had a hard time retrieving last years tax info but I finally did. The rest was quick and easy.

Simple and Fast

I used to do all my returns by hand so I understand how tedious this process is. I can certainly appreciate the simple user interface of this software. I have been a loyal user for nearly 10 years.
What's great about it: No stone left unturned
What's not so great: If you skip a section you need to remember to go back

I am a little disappointed that you have added additional fees since last year. I don't remember a filing fee on top of state fee and purchase price.

Long-Time Turbo Tax user

Really helped with the education credits and having 3 children I want to make sure I am getting the full benefit. Turbo tax was very helpful on the 1098-T forms and what can be claimed! I have been using Turbo Tax since 1998.

Mostly Great

I was mostly very happy with my experience once again. This is the 5th year I have used Turbo Tax. The easy guide through the program was great.
I did have trouble as I have Windows XP and I could not readily download needed updates. It took suggestions from a friend to find out how to manually download the Federal updates. However this did not work with the state update and it took a while to find out how to do this. I had great help from customer service however and I finally was successful.
It would be helpful, in the future, to put in the program how to manually download both types of updates. With that information all would have been great.
What's great about it: Iliked the east steps through the tax information
What's not so great: I was not alerted to the problems I would have with Windows XP
