The only way

I love Turbo Tax! This is my 4th year using it. I was at a brick and mortar tax service center. We got audited and ended up paying $7000+ in taxes, penalties, and fees back in for several years worth. Never again did I use them. I used a private accountant the next year for our taxes to straighten us out. She used Turbo Tax to file our taxes. I figured that if she was using it, it was pretty good. I have no regrets filing my own taxes and have never had another $7000 penalty. Hopefully, I won't but, I always purchase the audit protection no matter how low my risk is. Just in case.
The one issue I had was, importing my old taxes. I had a business on previous years but, didn't this year. I had to go over and over manually to get the business off manually and remove a worksheet that kept flagging errors. It would have been much easier if it would have removed all the information together. As in a question of, "Do you still own this business?" Answering yes or no. Then confirming that you wished to delete all documents connected to the business for the 2013 tax year. I didn't need to file a loss either. I only figured out how to get rid of worksheets by the forum. Thank goodness! The format could have been better. If I didn't have experience and was new, I would have probably messed up. Thankfully, I study the tax book each year and knew what the form was. I knew the form wasn't supposed to still be in there when the review kept showing errors. It took me about an hour to file from beginning to end. Even with the difficulty.

Great Program

I have been using this program for four or five years now and don't plan on switching any time soon.
What's great about it: I actually enjoy doing my taxes here.
What's not so great: My internet is slow. (Not turbo taxes fault.)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax Rules!

Turbo Tax rules! It does not require you to be a CPA in order to correctly file your own taxes. It asks all the right questions and then determines what needs to be done next. It is really easy to use. I have used Turbo Tax for about 10 years to do my taxes and I plan to use it until I no longer need to file taxes. I love it. The price of doing my taxes myself with Turbo Tax is far less than what I would pay to have someone do it for m! My taxes are done quickly and easily and correctly. I even do my son's taxes with Turbo Tax! I complete my taxes with Turbo Tax, file them electronically, get my refund, and then go out and spend my refund and the whole process takes under a month..
What's great about it: It asks all the right questions.
What's not so great: I have never found any.

TurboTax is the easiest "do it yourself" way to prepare taxes ever! My family have been using this for quite a few years and we all couldn't be more pleased.
It's very self-explanatory and therefore very easy to use. I recommend TurboTax to first time users.

I've never had any problems with printing before, but overall turbotax has been an excellent product for me for many years
What's great about it: turbo tax in general
What's not so great: unless I printed each page separately, it printed out in gibberish - like a foriegn language
