install problems

continuous errors trying to install on the same computer I used for several years with turbo tax running Windows XP SP3. Install program after "analyzing" would come up with an error and go into a continual loop. Would not install. Could not find program in task panel to kill it, had to reboot to get it to stop.
Luckily I have another computer (that I did not want personal info on) running Windows 7. On this computer it installed fine but then had to find the files from the other computer for last years return to import, or reenter this info again.
Program was as easy to navigate as usual but I did not like this problem.
What's not so great: Would not install on windows xp
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It was E-Z!!

Overall, the software did what I needed it to do and my my whole tax filing experience pretty easy. Thank You.
What's great about it: I liked that all my info was imported from last year.
What's not so great: The price for the better versions was high and couldn't find or was offered any "good" discounts for using it last year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to use

Form 8606 was not generated the first time through my taxes. I had to go back and manually enter some info for the form - ex. total value of IRA. When I did the forms were generated. Don't know what I did the first pass to mess up. But, ended up ok.
What's great about it: Have usedmany years and like Tutbotax
What's not so great: Had problem this year with Form 8606

Been using Turbo Tax for over five years, never have I had a problem. Will use it again next year.

I could NOT get the forms to print without help.

When I got to the point of printing forms prior to e-filing I could not get the system to work without going to "print preview" which was a little confusing and misleading.
What's great about it: Most was simple and straightforward
What's not so great: Problem with printing.
