Was a tax accountant for 35 years. Thought the last software our firm used was overly complex (too many bells and whistles). Liked using TurboTax, although I find that the print routine is a little confusing.

What's not so great: info from 2012 did not come over to 2013

Fast and Easy Tax Return

I have been using Turbotax to complete my federal and state tax return for over ten years. What is really nice is that it pulls in a lot of the information from your previous return which speeds up the completion of the required tax information inputs. I especially like the features where your return is checked for any errors and they determine what your IRS audit risk is.
What's great about it: Extremely user friendly and fast
What's not so great: I can't think of anything

Much needed help

If you have deductions and aren't the sharpest pencil in the pocket but have saved your info then Turbo Tax is the way to go. Time saving and Mind saving.

This is a great software program for beginners and experienced people that want to be in control of doing their own taxes. It is very easy to follow along and does not miss a single thing.
