I have used Turbo Tax for the last 10 years and have never had a problem. It is easy to use and guides you through everything you can think of. I won't use anything else. Thank you Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Easy Guide is the way to go.

Got a new lap top had to do taxes on old one . Not a high teck guy .other than that its a keeper .
What's great about it: Always checks my past

1st use of TurboTax. Long story short I'm a believer. Service is phenomenal and all bases were covered. Will undoubtedly continue usage of TurboTax in the future.

Turbo tax

Was so simple that all I had to do was input the w-2 and other forms and answer the question and I was done in less than an hour
What's great about it: Easy to comolete taxes
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love using Turbo Tax. I've used Turbo Tax for 3 years now, and I've always gotten the best return. Turbo tax walks me through the process from beginning to end and I love that it can pick up where I left off the year before.
I would strongly recommend this software to anyone looking to have their taxes done right the first time at home. Its also a great way to learn what exactly is involved when it comes to filing, as well as the ins and outs with deductible items.
What's great about it: Easy Step by Step, Audit Protection

This is the second year in a row in which the TurboTax program said that it was RECOMMENDED that we use "married-filing separately" as our status, but since I am a stay at home mom I don't need to file separately. This wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact when we went back and changed it to "married-filing jointly" it ended up giving us almost $1,500 more in our refund!
I don't know if this is something that can be addressed before you give a recommended status because this would have kept us from some serious money if we didn't go back to double check. It just wanted to use me as an exemption when he filed separately. I like using turbo tax because its super easy, but if following easy directions means I either don't get a substantial part of my refund or have to go back to double check everything myself, I don't know if its worth it.
What's great about it: easy to use, feel like they take us through every possibility
What's not so great: didn't put us in the right status
