Easy as Cake!

I have been using Turbo Tax for probably 8 years or so. Every year Turbo Tax meets or exceed my expectations.
Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Easy to complete
What's not so great: Can't think of any cons

I have the most basic returns for Federal and State. I keep using TurboTax because my information is saved from year to year. Next year I might choose a more basic TurboTax product, since it's getting a little too expensive for me as a very low wage earner.
What's great about it: Fast and easy
What's not so great: Getting a little pricey

Iowa Return Form IA130 does not calculate correctly. I have used Turbo Tax for several years. Each year I need to go in and change the calculation on the IA130 form as it doesn't divide the income since Iowa filing status can be Married filing separately on joint return. That is the most beneficial status for most Iowa couples. It makes a several hundred dollar difference in the tax. I would appreciate your experts looking into this so that it will be correct next year.

TurboTax takes you right thru your return from start to finish. Anyone can do it and it will save you lots of money. It keeps an online record of all your previous taxes from year to year.

fixes needed

program doesn't calculate the balance of points left on a loan refi'ed w/ a different lender; it just calculates the annual amount even though the box was checked saying the loan was refi'd w/ a different lender; needs a fix.
program doesn't allow for just mileage expense on auto which is only occeasionally used to drive to a rental property; wants to do whole depreciation; needs a fix.

Getting the most for my dollar.

Easy to use. fast and convenient. Only one problem. It did not update our youngest child that was born in 2012 to a qualifying child for 2013 which was a big difference in our tax return. Had to manually do this after wondering why so low.
other than that excellent.
