Better than last year...

I did not think it would be easier than last year but it was!!! Transferred all of last years info. to this years returns. Super simple...

It is hard to find the spot to put in health insurance paid on the state form if you pay it yourself. The section seemed to only highlight where to enter if self employed.
What's great about it: Seemed to ask about all necessary topics.

Quick, Simple, Refund on the Way

I have been using TurboTax for the last 10 years (or more). It is so easy to use. I like the fact that it automatically pulls over last year's income, deductions, charitable contributions so that you can quickly compare current year figures. You can walk through each category line by line, deduction by deduction, or you can pick and choose categories. It's worth the small amount paid to get the downloaded version and be finished in an hour rather than days. Being able to e-file is the best too. I usually get my refund back in days.
What's great about it: TurboTax leads me through and explains every step

Bought the deluxe this year with just reading the big print. I didn't read the line only federal e-file. But there was a lot less pushy upsell messages through out the program.

Corrupt Software

When I attempted to download CO state return, the whole Turbo tax shutdown, and I couldn't restart it. It would load halfway, then shutdown. Spent two days and countless frustrations trying to fix. If I can find a better software package next year, I will go somewhere else, it was that bad. Sorry.
