Fast, easy, and complete

I used to do my taxes on my own but never felt confident that I took advantage of all the deductions to which I was entitled, and was never sure if I answered all the questions correctly. With TurboTax, I am sure. For example, I got an energy tax credit that I don't think I would have figured out on my own. TurboTax told me exactly where to look on my return from 2010 to locate my previous energy credit amount. As long as you have all the forms your need for reference, you can be done and filed in an hour -- even if you are itemizing your deductions. The only suggestion I would make is to remind the user to remove last year's TurboTax before downloading the new year's program. (Removing the old program WON'T delete last year's return.)
What's great about it: Goes through all the possibilities for deductions.
What's not so great: Remind me to remove prior year's before downloading new version.

Great Product

I have used Turbo Tax for years. One year I used Tax Cut based upon meeting another customer at a store who had used that product. However, I didn't like the look of the forms it printed and saved. Also, it was harder to use. For example, I could not easily determine how it calculated certain data items and what form was the source of that data. So I switched back and have stayed with Turbo Tax ever since.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: Wish Turbo Tax for a 2nd State Was Less Expensive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Makes Tax Season Less Taxing

Excellent program! Used Turbo Tax for years, then switched to H&R Block. Last year was very disappointed with H&R Block because they never made my state tax program available even though I had purchased it. Switched back to Turbo Tax this year and was glad I did. This program imported last year's data that was in the H&R Block format to make it faster to do the taxes. The question-answer format helps to determine what data to enter where. The were only two things I did not like. When I tried to e-file, it required that I download an update. I would have liked a warning when I opened up the program so I could have downloaded the update before I completed my tax return. Also, it was difficult to open up the various forms to review them as you are going through the process. Other than that, the program was very easy to use, even for first-time tax return program users.
What's great about it: Question-Answer format
What's not so great: Difficult to view forms

Very complete and was easier to use than I thought it would be. I got more for a refund than when I did it myself.
