Even a novice can do complicated things! Wonderful job with interview
What's great about it: Easy interview questions
What's not so great: had trouble fixing one error, deleted that form and restarted

Easy Q & A

We've used Turbo Tax for 10 or more years, and always find it easy to use. My only complaint is that some concepts could be explained better, such as reporting HSA contributions and distributions. Still, with the ability to use "It's Deductible" to assess your non-cash charitable contributions and the general ease of reporting and filing, it has enabled us to do our taxes quickly and easily and get our refund on its way.

Outstanding! makes tax filing a breeze

I've been using TurboTax since the late '90's and it's great. Sure, there are other, cheaper tax preparation software out there. I think that you get what you pay for. TurboTax's user friendliness and ease of use are hard to beat. Well worth the investment.

Error 1603

First year I had issues with downloading Turbo Tax. The 1603 Windows Installer error prevented installation. Turbo Tax would indicate it needs to fix some things like File folders, registry and .Net Framwork 4.0. I takes over 35 minutes for this to complete then it indicates reboot is required. After system reboots it begins the Turbo Tax installation again only to arrive at the same 1603 error message and attempt to fix it again. This was a continous cycle. Searching for the fix was not straight forward like it should be and you have to spend time.
I was delayed about 3 hours starting my taxes.

What's great about it: Once I got beyond the 1603 Windows Installer error everything worked as in prior years.
What's not so great: Had to download a fix and apply it to Turbo Tax 2013 before I could successfully download Turbo Tax 2013.

Just Another Day

I tell my family in advance when I am going to do taxes, so they have time to run. Tax Day is a horrible day in our home; and I tell them that if they choose to stay at home that day, they are doing it at their own risk. Well, it was until I discovered your product. My family and I thank you very much for making Tax Day just another day.
Your product is user friendly, easy to follow and understand, and takes a fraction of the time to use than my old manual process using the IRS booklets.

I really like the way TurboTax walks you through the process of filing each year. The only thing I seen this year was missing the state sales tax deduction if there was any this year. The only message it gave was that, that part was not ready yet and should be by 31 Dec 13. It is now the middle of February. Overall a great product though.
What's great about it: Software is very easy to use and walks you through the process.
What's not so great: Missing state sales tax information (if any)

This was not the best year for TT - various issues

Hopefully, this is the last year TT will have such problems was the fluid process I am used to.
What's great about it: Indepth help and easy to follow (in most cases)
What's not so great: Various errors well into Feb that weren't even resolved when I filed.
