Printng return

Always been able to print return or specific forms within Turbo Tax until this year. Saving as PDF is extremely inefficient and difficult. If a Windows problem, T.T. should have either corrected with Windows or advised users of the problem and promised to fix it.
What's great about it: Used T.T. for years - solid system
What's not so great: inability to use printing function within T.T.

Best software ever

This software is fantastic for filing a return. The walk through is wonderful, and I especially liked the charitable deductions "worth" section. It takes the guess work out of determining the worth of household item donations. With this software, there is no reason why anyone cannot complete their own tax form.
What's great about it: liked the walk through feature

updated e-mail address

My new e-mail address did not change until I went in and changed the address on the edit page. I put this new address on the page for notification of filing status when completing the return filing. Will I receive a notice at my new e-mail? I do not have access to my old account.
What's not so great: I changed my e-mail address for the notification process. Address did not change!!

Turbo Tax didn't let me e-file

Program kept telling me i needed an update to e-file but when i followed the instructions to get the update it told me no updates were needed as i had the most recent update installed, had to mail my forms…. will not use this program again…you get what you pay for i guess.
What's great about it: easy to navigate through
What's not so great: would not let me e-file

2013 Tax Experience

Federal tax was pretty easy. NC tax was confusing, I guess that is due to our tax law makers.
What's great about it: guided through every step
What's not so great: hard to check if you entered a number wrong, which I did

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
