Great Saved Big Money

First time user of Turbo Tax was easy and saved a ton of money and got a ton of money back.
What's great about it: I didnt have to pay hundreds of dollars to do taxes

I've used turbo tax for thirteen years and it always makes it easy to do my taxes. It has helped me find deductions that I didn't know about. Great product.

Trubo Tax, Tax Expert Works!

I was working through my taxes, Long form itemized deduction was my best option. But, I had a special question that I could not get an answer to by researching.
Used the Tax expert option (Online info said a rep would be available in 5 minutes. (it was Late saturday night after hours about 8:00 PM PST). After submitting the question, I received an email saying office hours was Monday - Friday and I would be contacted then. BUT -- about 12 minutes later, I received a Phone call from a Live Person! John was really Great! He had a immediate answer. Asked several other Questions, Discussed the whole issue, Answered the question, gave insight on the problem, which prompted another question that increased my refund. With-in 5 minutes, I had the correct answer, and how to get to the proper place in Turbo-tax.
Very happy with the prompt service. and the ease of submission.

What's great about it: Fast accurate have confidence in the Results
What's not so great: Wish I didn't have to pay the state electronic filing fee.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great... But...

It would be nice if you have a disclaimer for the "TurboTax Plus" addendum early in the process. I found out about it until my State e-file was completed?! Looks and feels tricky. I'd rather know ahead of time.
Overall, great product. Thank you.
What's great about it: Fast. Easy to follow. Simple.
What's not so great: No free State e-file. Gotta pay more to e-file State?!

The product is great, but I still don't understand how someone who is unemployed has to pay taxes.
What's great about it: Turbotax is more efficient
What's not so great: I owe taxes

Hard work made easy

I like Turbo Tax and have used it for several years. I do not like having to pay extra for e-filing the state returns after I have paid extra to get the state filing software. Cost ought to be explained prior to purchase.
What's great about it: Guidance and reveiws
What's not so great: extra cost for filing state after paying extra for the software

Turbo Tax 2013 home use

I have used Turbo Tax for quite a few years now, and have not been disappointed. Our returns are simple and complete. The ability to review and modify as required is important. I have also used the software for my children's taxes. When you compare the effort to answer questions with the knowledge to review tax forms and research the answers, the usefulness of Turbo Tax becomes clear.
What's great about it: All the information required is available
What's not so great: Some of the more intricate tax forms are difficult to translate
