Got the little bit Extra!

I hate TAXES!, but I love TurboTax Deluxe!! well with state and e-file I couldn't ask for a better deal. I have been doing my taxes with Intuit for over 13 years and I still come back and I think it gets a little better every year. I think this years TTAX Deluxe with state and e-file was the easiest and the best. Thanks for all the help. I get a breather for a year anyway. Oh YES btw, I did get a sizable refund, YEA!!
What's great about it: Pretty much straight forward and fairly easy with plenty of help.

Big time saver

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and can't see why anyone with a straight-forward return would spend time and money hiring a professional tax preparer. The program prompts you for every possible tax scenario and does the calculations for you, even recognizing and alerting you to oversights. After a couple of years of use, you know what documents and materials you will need before you sit down to work. Since all of your basic information is stored and transfered to your new return each year, you are entering your data and working smoothly in no time. No need to schedule an appointment and travel to it with all of your docs in hand. You can work in your pajamas in the middle of the night if you want to!
What's great about it: Logical flow with concise prompts
What's not so great: Filling in a lot of data (i.e. medical expenses) only to learn I don't qualify for the deduction.

Turbo Tax Is Great

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years. It is a great program, easy to understand and follow and is very thorough with tax items and questions on saving taxes.
It was confusing at the end during the e-file process, because it seemed to be saying that I needed to purchase Turbo Tax again to proceed with e-filing and gave me an option to pay for it by auto deduction or by credit card, even though I had purchased the disk and had it in my computer. It should have more clearly stated that the charge was for the State e-file, not Turbo Tax Deluxe, or perhaps have had selection buttons that state:
* Purchase Turbo Tax Deluxe
* No Thanks, proceed with e-filing
Other than that, I love Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy user friendly program, plain English, reviewed everything
What's not so great: Confusion at end with e-filing steps

I used TurboTax for the first time this year and my refund is almost twice as much as when I filed with H&R block in 2013, for less than 1/2 the cost!!!
I will definitely be a TurboTax returning customer
