Accurate and Easy to Use...As Always

I have been using TurboTax since 1993 and as always, I was able to accurately complete my taxes in a fraction of the time that it would take me to do them manually. Although my taxes weren't as complex this year as they have been in past years, they were still not basic. My husband and I both have incomes. In addition, we had dividends, interest, retirement funds, mortgages, charitable contributions including having to itemize the items donated as well as mileage and other expenses as part of volunteering. We also had medical expenses, college expenses, and other miscellaneous deductions. The first several years that I used TurboTax I followed the step-by-step instructions and went through every section of the income and deductions to make sure that I didn't miss anything. Now I know exactly what I need to complete and once I had all of the supporting documentation organized, I finished our taxes, both federal and state, e-filed them both and paid the necessary fees for the state filing in less that two hours. This included looking over everything to make sure that I didn't miss anything. I remember when it took longer than that to complete the 1040-EZ when I was a teenager and worked part-time. I will never file my taxes any other way. TurboTax is the only way to go.

Not happy with Intuit!!!

If there was any viable competition, I would never buy another Intuit product. I should have the option of buying new software on my schedule. Not because your product is scheduled to quit working in 3 years.
I have never seen this behavior with any other software vendors. I went to purchase Microsoft Money. Unfortunately they don't sell it. Hopefully there will be another competitor in three years.
Also, two years in a row, Heifer International ZIP code came up as an error. I Googled it and found the work-around is to delete the state code. Why don't you fix this?
What's great about it: Works for the most part
What's not so great: Very mad that disable Quicken after 3 years

Tax time made easy

The donation calculator helped us calculate the worth of the goods we donated. We loved the ease of processing our taxes at our leisure.
What's great about it: Very self explanatory; loved the donation calculator
What's not so great: Hard to follow some questions

Great Program again

This is my 9th year using turbo tax. I am always at ease with how easy the program makes the process and the accuracy.

it didn't seem quite as straight forward as in years past, but still a great program... I'll definitely continue to use it in years to come

Turbo Tax has been helping us file our taxes for years. They never disappoint!

Software is exceptionally simple to use and walks you through everything, so even the most mentally or technically challenged person can use this. I've been using TurboTax for more than 12 years and will continue to do so. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and money. Use TurboTax!
