So helpful.

I sometimes consider buying a "cheaper" program, but in the end always get turbo tax. First of all it retrieves my last years data, and secondly in times like last year I actually got to talk to a staff tax expert that helped me immensely. Good job turbo tax!
What's great about it: Step by step instructions. No problem repeating or starting over if you think you have entered data incorrectly.
What's not so great: Wish the "help" section had a bit more information.

I have been using TurboTax for many years and it hasn't let me down yet.
The interface is clean and uncluttered and the help system is 2nd to none.

Now if they could get their other products to be as well behaved as this, they would be a world leader, (are you listening Quicken?)
What's great about it: Very easy, intuitive interface. Great for the non-tax professional
What's not so great: They try to suck you into additional services at the end.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years, and I have always been satisfied with the ease of filing my taxes.
What's great about it: T.T guided me through the entire process and let me compare 2013 to 2012 return
What's not so great: Can't think of any !

Made me look smart

I think for most people, the fact that you're doing your taxes without actually looking at the intmidating forms, makes it easier on the brain. The whole process made me look smart in front of my wife and kids. Now that's a heck of a trick!

I work with Federal taxes for a living. Turbo tax covered all areas, asked thorough questions and very user friendly.

I am hopeful that an update to the City return will correct the watermark left on my return.
What's great about it: this year was easier than ever
What's not so great: My City return says "DO NOT FILE, FORM NOT FINAL" with no explanation
