Extremely thorough and easy

If you have a very simple financial position, I would highly recommend it.
What's great about it: The detail utilized everywhere
What's not so great: State can't be filed free

The process did not take long and I especially like being told what paperwork was needed for each section. However, I was annoyed to find about the additional charge to e-file our state return. I was under the impression all was included in the deluxe charge.
What's great about it: I liked the wording of the questions, almost as if someone was talking directly to me.
What's not so great: Additional charge to e-file state return.

Sometimes I was confused by questions such as 'Do you have another w-2?" I didn't know if it referred to just for myself or if it included my husband's w-2. Also, a worksheet, I think for property taxes, would not let me proceed until I filled in a name for landlord even though the form knew we were owners of our home and were told to skip to #4. (the landlord required info was on #3 and therefore not in the questions we were supposed to answer anyway)

some forms are hard to get to ie, cash contributions ;also some explanations during filing would be nice instead of a few at the end and in the review section
What's great about it: pertty easy to use
What's not so great: forms are hard to get to,support is not there or very generic

Best of bad situation

The transfer from previous year is smooth and accurate, the ease of adding or deleting info in each category is simple.
finishing with the review finds any missing areas of info and allows them to be fixed immediately without going through the whole section again.
Submitting the tax forms, both Federal and State is easy.

What's great about it: Very easy to go back and edit new info as you complete your taxes

Have used Turbo Tax before and have never had a problem printing a copy of returns...still don't have copies
What's great about it: Good way to file
What's not so great: Printing difficult can't get a copy of returns to print
