Love Turbo Tax!

We have used Turbo tax for 8 years now and it's the easiest thing to do and the benefits of filing our own taxes is great! We love Turbo Tax and will continue to use it for years to come!

Programing too rigid in guiding you toward intuit preferred path, make all paths equally visible and accessible.
What's great about it: Easy to install, user friendly, accurate
What's not so great: Cost for electronic state return filing too expensive

Like A Charm

I usually do my taxes myself and directly efile to IRS. It usually takes two or three days to complete reading all of the rules and regulations that apply to my situation as a single father with four dependents. Started turbotax and completed both Fed and State in about one hour along with efileing for the Fed.
I did not like that I would have to pay to efile for the State but I believe that is a problem with my state rather than the product. But easy to print my State return and mail.

What's great about it: Walked me through some complex situatuions

I have been using TurboxTax for over 10 years and each year the software gets easier to use. I found this to be very thorough and was pleased with the results.
What's great about it: Excellent Wizard to prompt for answers along the way
