Great Experience

Over all a good way to do the taxes. Better than packing up all your records to take to an accountant. It is private and personal. Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to understand questions.
What's not so great: Need to include in Introduction all the docs and numbers needed before starting.

It is easy to use and simple. Like the step by step and the checks for error part. Had an issue with downloading last years but could not find it on computer even though previous ones were there. Like the program and plan on continue using it in the future.
What's great about it: likes that it auto loads previous return, easy to use,
What's not so great: some reason did not save last years, not sure program problem or user problem. Other than that no problems
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I used to feel that I could do my own taxes. However, with so many changes in the tax laws over the past several years, I decided to try Turbo Tax a few years ago and I have been a happy customer every since. Thank you so much Turbo Tax for creating such a stress fee, easy to use program for filing my taxes.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax ensures that I don't make mistakes
What's not so great: No Cons. Turbo Tax is awesome!!!

Very good but...

It would be helpful if you listed the categories of Medical deductions before asking us to enter data for them. I entered items in a category that I would have entered in another if I had known that category was available.
What's great about it: generally easy to use.
What's not so great: Need to add a "getting started" list of categories for Medical deductions.

Eases complicated tax preparation

I have used TurboTax for more than 20 years and it has always done an excellent job. I have had to enter education expense information the last two years and find it more difficult than other areas.
Would not consider using anything else.
What's great about it: Both prompted and manual entry including forms
What's not so great: Educational tax information entry a bit unclear
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I would like the detailed comparison added back into the system. It used to compare your tax return with others in the similar tax range. Other than that an excellent product.
