Filing process very good

Product was very helpful in guiding me through the process. Of particular help, was the auto download from the participating financial institutions. It made the process fast and simple. recovering information from previous year's returns made the process even faster and simple. Thank you turbo tax.
What's great about it: guided me through the process and the automatic download of tax ifo from financial instutions made it very easy.

Super quick and easy! Mabey too quick. I had to go back and add a few things that either I missed or wasn't asked. Overall it really was foolproof. I can't believe I waited this long to do taxes myself.
What's great about it: Quick, easy and accurate.
What's not so great: Had to go back for a few things.

My Review of Turbotax

I still prefer to print and mail my returns and had some trouble figuring out how to do it this year. Apparently you need to go to the preview screen and print from there.
What's great about it: easy to navagate through
What's not so great: printing was not so intuative

Turbotax was better last year

"Preparing installation" step took over 20 minutes, stayed at 0% complete almost the entire time.
Window fields to enter info is not highlighted unless cursor is on top of it, making you think there's nothing to enter.
Charitable entries got confusing - last year's was better.
Same with sales tax. Entered a new car purchased in 2013 and somehow ended repeating the purchase and tax amounts

What's great about it: quick and easy
What's not so great: Too long to load - over 20 minutes. New changes not intuitive.

Federal Return changed did not file

My state taxes were rejected, made the changes needed and it changed my federal and my state but Turbo Tax did not refile my federal taxes. So now what happens, I have no idea what to do.
What's great about it: nothing to compare turbo tax to at this time
What's not so great: I had an error and had no idea what I was filling in.

Process good but price is getting out of hand

Great product but the fees were out of line. Seems different this year. Had to pay for state returns plus fees to file. Almost not worth it. I will look at lower cost alternatives. That said, the product works great and I will seriously consider it in the future.
What's great about it: Very intuitive as always
What's not so great: Fees increasing - got nickeled and dimed to death.

Easy to use.

Turbo Tax is easy, helpful and you can take your time doing it. No appointments or rush. I did mine over a three day period. You get tired, you get up and walk away. Takes the stress out of doing taxes.
What's great about it: Can take my time. No rush or appointments.
What's not so great: It's Taxes stupid

TurboTax is great!

I have used TurboxTax for many years and have never been disappointed. It is accurate and very easy to use. It helps me remember items I need to include in the filing and helps keep me out of trouble with the IRS.
What's great about it: Accurate and easy to use
