Really Great

Turbo Tax has made my life so much easier. I've used it for several years now. I know what to save and I know how to get all my data from Quicken. It's so simple I can do it in a an hour. I love it.
What's great about it: easy to follow, easy to correct, easy to transmit

I am going to try a different tax software next year. I don't think you should charge for state e-file.

Super Easy Filing

The software was easy to install and use. The questions asked made filing for taxes not a daunting experience it used to be years ago.
What's great about it: Using turbo tax was incredibly easy to use.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

too much $$$ to file

realy need to stop over charging to file on line and for buying state programs.
What's great about it: easy program, used it for years
What's not so great: too much extra to buy states and file states on line, losing money

It couldn't be easier!

I've been using TurboTax for many years now and it takes all the stress out of preparing my tax returns. In particular I always dreaded entering all the capital gains information. Now it's a breeze. Finished up my taxes and mailed them within one hour on a February Saturday morning - AND, received a larger refund than I expected, on both Federal and State returns.
You can't do better than that!
What's great about it: Very user friendly. Easy to leave and return to. Handles all the complicated entries with ease. Very reassuring
What's not so great: Hard to find a visual copy of the first few pages of the 1040 for those of us who still like the visual appeal of paper

Turbo Tax was really very easy to use and asked several questions to get to the bottom line to ensure you received all the necessary credits. I would definitely use Turbo Tax again.
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step process was fool-proof and ensured we got the greatest refund.
What's not so great: Additional cost to file state income tax return.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Itemized Deductions

If you have itemized deductions, it is can be confusing. Sometimes you feel like you might be entering the same deductions in 2 different places and claiming it twice.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax walks you through step by step
What's not so great: Its still confusing
